Key Foundation Graduate Opportunity Assistantship
Expanding Opportunities in Financial Engineering

The Kent State University College of Business Administration is pleased to announce the availability of two Graduate Assistantships in its prestigious Master of Science in Financial Engineering (MSFE) program. These
full-tuition assistantships have been made available through a generous gift from Key Foundation. Unlike other MSFE assistantships, these assistantships will only
be awarded to domestic, underrepresented minority students.
The MSFE program is designed for students with strong quantitative backgrounds seeking leadership careers in risk management, derivatives analysis or futures trading. The program provides students with both applied experience and a solid theoretical foundation. Our state-of-the-art, on-campus Trading Floor uses advanced market software with live data feeds to provide hands-on training and develop "Quants Who Can Trade."
Admission decisions are developed by a committee of faculty based on applicant qualifications including:
- GRE or GMAT Scores
- GPA at the undergraduate and, if available, graduate level
- Transcripts for all previously earned degrees
- Letters of recommendation
- Statement of goals and objectives
Once an offer of admission has been extended, qualifying students are invited to apply for a Key Foundation Graduate Opportunity Assistantship. These assistantships will be offered first to regularly admitted, qualifying students. Assistantships for conditionally admitted students will be awarded on an "as available" basis.
