International Study Scholarship

The International Scholarship is to support College of Business Administration and Graduate School of Management students who intend to participate in international study. International study programs provide the student participant with a balance of academic, linguistic, and cross-cultural experiences and learning opportunities.

This scholarship can be used to support travel and living expenses as well as tuition for international study. Examples of international study for which this scholarship can be applied include but are not limited to: the Geneva Study Abroad Program, the Masters International Business Experience, study-abroad programs offered by Kent State University's Center for International and Comparative Programs (CICP), and study-abroad programs offered by other universities. For a list of CICP programs and partnership universities with specific details, contact the CICP Office in Room 124 Bowman Hall or at 330-672-7980. CICP also has a library with information about study-abroad programs offered by other colleges and universities.

Undergraduate business students who have questions about international study should go to Room 107, BSA or call 330-672-2872 to arrange to meet with an academic advisor. Graduate business students should contact the Graduate School of Management using the directory information mentioned above.

  • SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: $250 to $2,500
  • MAJOR: Any College of Business or Graduate School of Management major
  • CLASS STANDING: Must have a minimum of 30-semester hours completed or graduate student status.
  • GPA REQUIREMENTS: 3.0 overall
  • APPLICATION DEADLINE: MARCH 15 OR EARLIER IF OTHER DEADLINES APPLY
