Getting Started
As a new student, there are a number of things you'll need to do to get started in the program. We hope to provide you with the information you need to get established as a graduate student at Kent State University.
If you have not already done so, you'll need to return the new student Confirmation Form before you will be permitted to register for courses. Return of the confirmation form lets us know of your intention to come to Kent State. It also reserves your space as part of the incoming class. Once we receive your confirmation form, the registration hold is released.
You'll then want to register and pay for classes, find housing, get your Kent State ID and email account, buy your parking pass, get your books, and attend the new student orientation.
